This is a great example of the Pax Joy knit by Jenny Kee, by way of a cardigan in 100% pure wool. The front and sleeves of this original knit from 1991, and features a striped design incorporating Peace doves, butterflies, the Yin and Yang symbol, dolphins, and words of peace. The rich and varied colour palette is offset by a plain field of cherry red on the back and also as a border trim to the garment. There are 5 red buttons down the front.
Tags are all attached and indicate that this knit was made in Hong Kong at a time when JK was outsourcing her knitting production overseas.
Condition is excellent. There are no holes, snags or pulls to the knit. No stains, runs or fading, and no pilling. The colours are as original and remain true and vivid in intensity. All buttons are original and secure.
