These are the iconic space boots designed by Mary Quant in 1967 for her QUANTAFOOT range. They are an absolute design classic, in a red rubberised woven shell, with a clear rubber sole and heel bearing the iconic daisy logo. There are brass side zips with ring feature, and the interior Is in excellent unworn condition still complete with the original labelling.
These boots also come with their original box, a real bonus for collectors of 1960s fashion. There are examples in many museum collections including the V&A and represent a most important period in mid century British, and in particular London style.
Condition is excellent. The boots have been only very lightly worn, meaning that the tread is good and crisp, shell, smooth and unblemished and inside still vibrant.
Box has a few dents and one split corner to lid with cellotape repairs.
