This is an exceptional original 1930s chain belt of parchment coloured celluloid segments featuring a pressed Egyptian theme of sphinxes and pyramids in a circular motif. There are seven segments spaced with elliptical hoops, with a teardrop shaped buckle clasp and a dangling end piece.
The clasp has a rudimentary yet most effective long hook which hooks onto the desired hoop link.
Length of belt is roughly 100cm long not including the end dangling segment.
Each segment is 6 X 4.5cm
Condition is excellent, with no cracks or chips, and no losses. Colour is true, showing no discolouration or fading.
