This is an excellent example of the PEACE design by Jenny Kee, in the form of a long mohair knit jumper dress. It is from the late 1980s, and features a very colourful patterned stripe of spiritual symbols, Australia maps, the JK initials and various other patterns and shapes. The rich multicoloured design has been wonderfully knitted by hand in mohair, and is finished with a striking waistband, cuffs and neckline in black. The red and black Jenny Kee label is attached at the neck.
The last photograph is from the JKee gallery from 1988, and features this knit modelled infront of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
as you can see, this piece can either be worn as a long jumper, or in fact as a short dress.
