This is a great early vintage HERMES Paris silk scarf from 1958 entitled "Phaeton" by LEDOUX from 1958. It features a classic and spacious design featuring various cameos of horses, carriages and riders around a central Roman chariot centrepiece. The colours are a strong powder blue with white and silver grey, with a fine black accent and darker blue accents for shadows. Edged are hand rolled.
The Hermes insignia can be found at the bottom right hand side.
The condition is excellent with no stains or fading to the colours, and no pulls, holes or snags in the silk.
