This great pair of vintage Gucci loafers are from the mid 1970s, and feature the classic woven logo pattern with tan leather details, stacked leather heel and gold gilt snaffle and chain detail. The fronts of the shoes have a central tan leather segment with top stitch and feature a substantial gold gilt rope detail snaffle. The heels are a blocky stacked leather with an inset gold gilt metal rope accent.
Inside there is a parchment leather lining with the classic early Gucci fabric tags.
Soles are all leather with Gucci (made in Italy) stamp and shoe size.
The condition of these shoes is good. The woven canvas is in good unmarked condition. The tan leather is showing signs of wear, and the leather piping around the opening is also fairly worn, but still intact. The wear is by no means compromising the integrity of the shoe and is just surface wear only. All stitching is intact with no breaks to any of the threads.
All metal hardware is intact with no losses or tarnishing. The interior is worn with slight discolouration. Soles are slightly worn and scuffed. Heels are in good order showing only slight wear.
