This is a great 1980s silk scarf by indigenous artist Jimmy Pike from the 1980s, featuring a turtle shell, sun medallion design in lurid bright colours. The orange and pink tones on the aqua background are vivid and electric, whilst the deep purple holds the whole design together. Such a great print which would look amazing framed too.
The Jimmy Pike signature is in small at one corner.
The condition is good, however there are a couple of very small holes near one edge, and a small stain at the centre of the scarf, (please see image).
