This incredible and rare Zandra Rhodes jacket is one from the early 1980s, and features a midnight blue background, with a turquoise, purple and white hand print geometric decorative pattern.
The hem is meticulously cut into rounded points at each end of a triangular border, and there are kimono sleeves with a square cut, edged in rounded points as well.
The jacket is made from 100% rayon, giving a wonderful sheer floaty effect, whilst the hand printing sits as opaque on top of the material.
As with all Zandra Rhodes pieces, the hand finishing and meticulous attention to detail is excelsior.
The condition of this jacket is excellent, with no holes or blemishes to the material. And no fading to the colours or stains.
All tags are attached.
Although the jacket is an English 8, (AUSTRALIAN 10), it is a loose and open cut, and would fit anyone up to an Australian size 12.
Being an open style jacket it would look amazing worn casually, and equally amazing over an evening dress as well.
So this is very versatile piece indeed, as well as being supremely beautiful and extremely sought after.
