This is a phenomenal 70s leather coat by New York label Samantha Smith, and features a panelled arrangement of hand printed leather pieces in an Indian style ornamental design with floral sprays and a contrasting border trim. There are two generous sized front pockets and a sharply cut pointed collar with enamelled brass press stud buttons. The coat has a fitted cut and is lightweight and purposely unlined, and the leather is soft and natural.
Sleeves are elegantly cut and gently flared at the cuff.
Condition is excellent. There are no scratches or blemishes on the leather, but please keep in mind that the leather and printing feature imperfections and shading of colour as part of the bohemian aesthetic.
Size is very small. An 8 maximum and the waist line is very petite. The coat will not accommodate a generous bosom.
