This Vivienne Westwood handbag is from around the year 1990. It is a great example of early 90s Westwood, and was purchased at the iconic George’s of Collins Street department store. The bag still comes with its original George’s box and bag cover bearing the Braccialini logo, the Italian makers of Westwood bags of this era.
Although this bag is perfectly functional, we have priced it more as a collectable, as the white finish to the leather is starting to crack and flake. Unfortunately many bags from this era have perished in the same way. The gold interior is flaking off in one area where the lid bends. And there are some marks to the interior also. None the less, for those who love and collect vintage Westwood, this is a fantastic piece and would be a great addition to anyone’s collection.
